Of which the following qualifications stand out operations and flight equipment: Pilot Ready for Combat 2, Ready for Combat 1 and Instructor Ready for Combat Aircraft A-37B, Pilot Ready Combat 2 and Combat Ready 1 aircraft Kfir-C2 and Kfir-CE.

Within his military preparation he has completed all promotion courses such as: Basic, advanced, staff and joint staff courses. He was trained as a military pilot at the “Marco Fidel Suárez” Military Aviation School for officers aviators in the Colombian Air Force and attended the US Air War College at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, in the United States.

In his complementary academic training, he has a degree in Aeronautical Sciences Military, Specialist in Strategic Defense Studies at the University of Armed Forces, ESPE., and Higher Diploma in Management Skills in the San Francisco University of Quito.
